How and when do I license my dog?
According to the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, all dogs four months or older must be licensed. This can be handled by mail or in person at our office. Don't forget that a rabies vaccination certificate is MANDATORY, and if applicable, proof of spaying or neutering (affidavit available under forms) is required for the reduced fee.
How often does the dog license come up for renewal?
What happens if I no longer have my dog?
If for whatever reason you no longer have the dog, we must be notified so that we can take it off of our records and notify the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
Handicap Parking Permits

How and where do I get a handicap parking permit?
From the town that you live in. Complete your section of the handicap parking application and then have your doctor complete and sign his part. We require that the doctor sign the form themselves - nurse or chiropracter signatures will not be accepted. Mail the completed form to the town clerk's office or come in person. We must also see the applicant's driver's license or non-driver's license, if he/she has one. There is no fee.

When and where do I get a marriage license? What do I need to bring with me?
Any town clerk's office or the city clerk. The license is good for 60 days and it must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance. Both of you must be present to sign the license. We need to see a birth certificate and driver's license. Should there be any previous marriages we need to see ALL divorce papers with filing date. Birth certificate or Divorce Papers must be original or certified copies with raised seal.
If you are a widow/widower, death certificates are required. Some clerks require appointments - we do not. We only ask that you come in no later than 4:00PM. The cost is $40.00, cash or check only.
