Social Security Announces Benefit Increase for 2023

Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for approximately 70 million Americans will increase 8.7 percent in 2023.

Child Tax & Earned Income Credit Notice

As part of President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, many parents and guardians are eligible for the Child Tax Credit and many people are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit. There is more money available to families and/or people with low to moderate incomes.

Shape-up Veterans Program

The Onondaga County Executive recently announced the creation of the SHAPE UP for Veterans Program. This program will allow income qualified Veterans grant funding to assist in home repairs to keep Veteran residents in their home. Note: Funding is limited.
