TOWN OF CLAY NOTICE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Clay will hold a Public Hearing April 19th, 2010, commencing at 7:38 P.M., local time, at the Town Hall, located at 4401 New York State Route 31, Town of Clay, Onondaga County, New York, to consider the application of RED BARN COUNTRY, LLC for a change of zone from R-10 One Family Residential District to O-2 Office District, to allow for office buildings and parking areas.

 

The property which is the subject of this application is located on 3.56± acres of vacant land located south of Waxwood Circle on the west side of Buckley Road, and being more particularly bounded and described as follows: ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND SITUATE in the Town of Clay, County of Onondaga and State of New York, being part of Military Lot No. 90 in said Town, being part of Parcel VI of lands conveyed to Red Bam Country, LLC by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on May 28, 2009 in Book 5086 of Deeds at page 859 and being more particularly described as follows:   BEGINNING at a point in the westerly boundary of Buckley Road (C.R No.16l), said point being the northeasterly corner of lands conveyed to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation by deed recorded in the Onondaga  County Clerk's Office on August 3l, 1956 in Book l824 of Deeds at page 181; running thence N 83º 07' W along said northerly boundary of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, a distance of 150.0 feet to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence S 00º 15' E along the westerly boundary of said lands conveyed to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, a distance of 151.66 feet to the southwesterly corner thereof, said point being in the northerly boundary of lands conveyed to August E. and Marion C. Bell by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on August 1, 1929 in Book 599 of Deeds at page 444; thence N 83º 07' W along said northerly boundary of lands conveyed to Bell, a distance of 193.2 feet to the easterly boundary of Bellville Tract Amended according to a map of said tract filed in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on June 2,1972 as Map No. 5183; thence N 07º 02' E along said easterly boundary of Bellville Tract Amended, along the easterly boundary of lands conveyed to Andrew and Wendy Tulowiecki by deed recorded in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office in Book 4925 of Deeds at page 245 and along the easterly boundary of Briarwood according to a map of said tract filed in the Onondaga County Clerk's Office on September 20, 1968 as Map No. 4967, a distance of about 801 feet to a point in the southwesterly boundary of said Buckley Road; thence southeasterly and southerly along said southwesterly and westerly boundaries of Buckley Road, respectively, a distance of about 734 feet to the point of beginning, containing 3.5 acres of land, more or less.

 

At such time all persons interested in said change of zone will be given an opportunity to be heard by the Clay Town Board.
