MULTICULTURAL PROGRAM-2010
Students will explore Japanese, African, Islamic, Chinese and
American Art. Each class focuses on a different culture
and the different styles and art forms. Students will
create and participate in multiple projects that relate to that
culture. Students will learn about different artist, art
forms, media and materials. Some examples of projects that
we will be creating and exploring are Japanese brush paintings,
African masks and drums, Islamic foil art and American 'Pop'
art, Folk art and more......

ART CAMPS-2010
Art
Camp:
Art Camp is a great opportunity to have fun, be creative and get
dirty! This summer's program will introduce a wide variety
of artistic mediums including multiple drawing and paintings
materials. Children will also have the opportunity to
create art using the IMAC computer lab! Each Child will
receive a personalized art smock. Arts games and snack
daily. Camp will conclude with a big ART SHOW !!!!

Great Music, Great Times
The Town of Clay Recreation Department would like to invite you
to its annual summer concert series held at Clay Central Park
off Wetzel Road on Tuesdays at the Ernest N. Casale
Amphitheatre.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers to enjoy great
music and great times! This
season during the concert food and refreshments will be
available for purchase by area Restaurants. There are also some picnic tables
and grills available. The Town of Clay Town Board, recently
adopted a resolution approving the 'Young Lungs at Play'
Tobacco-Free Parks Policy. Under this new policy, the Town
of Clay will not allow the use of any tobacco products on
parklands or open spaces. This policy should provide for a
safer environment for your families to enjoy the parks. The

FAIRYTALE THEATRE Summer DRAMA PROGRAM - 2010
ROYAL FAIRYTALE THEATRE DRAMA PROGRAM
This Shakespeare for Children' performing arts program
features educational theatre workshops to end in a full-length costumed
stage production. The program is held at Clay Central Park on
Wetzel Road on our outdoor castle stage. The play will be an
adaptations of a Shakespearean comedy - "The Tempest". Speaking roles for
entire cast! Class size limited. Plays are open to the public
with lawn chair seating (bring your own chair).

CAMP - 2010
Learn from the Clay Historical
Association members in a fun camp that will give your child
experiences from the past. Prior camp included making soap,
old fashion butter and ice cream, planting crops of the time,
playing old time games etc. Theme this year still to be
determined.

SAFETY
VILLAGE - 2010
A safety education/recreation program for children entering
kindergarten utilizing several different recreation components to impart
safety lessons concerning fires, buses, swimming pools, poisoning,
stranger situations, pedestrian and bicycle safety.
Location: Safety Village, held at Allen Road Elementary School.
Dates: July 12th-July 23rd, 2010-Monday thru Friday, a
two-week program, features two separate classes: 9:00 AM-10:30 AM or
11:00 AM-12:30 PM.

FOR KIDS-2010
This camp will be a week long
hands-on science program for children. The Theme for this
year will be 'Forensics" culminating in an optional field
trip on Friday. Parents will need to transport to and from
the site to be determined and there will be an additional cost.

T'AI CHI
CHU'AN-2010
T'ai Chi Chu'an (pronounced tie-jee-chewon)
one of the oldest forms practiced, typically involves slow motion
routines that groups of people practice together every morning in
parks around the world. Since we live in Upstate New York,
we cannot always practice outdoors so we will practice outdoors
when possible and indoors recalling nature and shared memories of
favorite places during inclement weather. T'ai Chi practice
is a low impact, stress reduction exercise that improves strength,
circulation and memory cognition.

Each program will be held at Liverpool High School. All
players are encouraged to bring recreational clothing and their
own tennis racket. If you need a racket or might want to

ONE-PLUS-ONE JUNIOR TENNIS
LEAGUE:
Groups are typically divided by age (level 1 ages 9-13
and level 2 ages 13-18). These lessons combine 45-minute
of instruction with at least 45-minutes of match or modified
play, provide nine 90 minute classes in a structured,
professionally supervised environment. Typically, the
skill that is taught for the day is integrated into follow-up
drills and games. The two three-week lesson leagues
are:

Central NY Summer Jr. Tennis Circuit-2010
For the seventh year running the CNY Junior Tennis Circuit
again provides tennis players the chance to compete against
other players throughout the summer. Each tournament is
held from 9:00 AM until it's completion on the same day.
In the event of rain, the tournament will resume or be
rescheduled at 12:00 noon on Sunday. The following sites

Standard Newspaper. Be sure to completely fill out all
information on the back of the registration form and submit the
